Hello, I am Leen, I have been active in the community of North Central Portugal for over 25 years. I live in Covas, between Oliveira do Hospital and Tabua, on a beautiful estate where I have organized many workshops over the years and had "Shop in a Box" for 10 years.
Since 2018 we started "Loja de Troca", an exchange shop, an opportunity to share our abundance. First the location was in Tabua and then in Povoa de Midoes, both in private properties that were sold after a few years. That's why we have to move now for the second time.
We have the ambition to build an environmentally friendly project.
A round building with a spherical roof.
This dome will partly consist of natural stones that are already present on the site, and the rest will be constructed from as much natural and reused material as possible. The aim is for the building to fit seamlessly into the landscape, like a hobbit house.
The name is "Aum dome na paraico da terra"
The first 950 euros went to excavating a circle of 12 meters and 6 meters deep.
The next was digging the foundation with a small excavator.
We made the foundation with stones that where on the land and some gravel we bought.
Now we are building the first layer of the wall with big granite stones that where brought in the project with a bulldozer and will be place correctly by hand and bock and tackle.
There will also be several natural ponds that collect and purify the water from the street. We have managed to create a purification pond, a duck pond is on the way and a swimming pond will be built one day.
The ponds will also hold water for firefighting purposes.
There will be parking for cars and larger trailers.
There will be room for markets with shade from trees.
Under this piece of land there is an existing forest “floresta da festa” that can be used as a children's playground and for other activities.
Everything that will happen here will be free or donation based.
A true place where our free community can continue to thrive.

Olá, sou Leen, trabalho na comunidade do Centro-Norte de Portugal há mais de 25 anos. Moro em Covas, entre Oliveira do Hospital e Tábua, numa bela propriedade onde organizei muitos workshops ao longo dos anos e tive o “Shop in a Box” durante 10 anos.

Desde 2018 iniciamos a "Loja de Troca", uma casa de câmbio, uma oportunidade de compartilhar nossa abundância. Primeiro a localização foi em Tábua e depois em Póvoa de Midões, ambas em propriedades privadas que foram vendidas ao fim de alguns anos. É por isso que temos que mudar agora pela segunda vez.
Temos a ambição de construir um projeto amigo do ambiente.
Edifício redondo com cobertura esférica.
Esta cúpula será parcialmente constituída por pedras naturais já presentes no local, e o restante será construído com o máximo de material natural e reaproveitado possível. O objetivo é que o edifício se encaixe perfeitamente na paisagem, como uma casa de hobbit.
O nome é "Aum dome na paraico da terra"
Os primeiros 950 euros foram destinados à escavação de um círculo de 12 metros e 6 metros de profundidade.
O próximo trabalho será cavar uma fundação. Ainda procuro uma pessoa social com uma pequena escavadeira.
Haverá também vários lagos naturais que recolhem e purificam a água da rua. Conseguimos criar um lago de purificação, um lago com patos está a caminho e um dia será construído um lago para nadar.
As lagoas também reterão água para fins de combate a incêndios.
Haverá estacionamento para carros e trailers maiores.
Haverá espaço para mercados com sombra de árvores.
Sob este terreno existe uma floresta da festa que pode ser utilizada como parque infantil e para outras atividades.
Tudo o que acontecerá aqui será gratuito ou baseado em doações.
Um verdadeiro lugar onde nossa comunidade livre pode continuar a prosperar.

Hallo, ik ben Leen, al ruim 25 jaar actief in de gemeenschap van Noord Midden-Portugal. Ik woon in Covas, tussen Oliveira do Hospital en Tabua, op een prachtig landgoed waar ik door de jaren heen vele workshops heb georganiseerd en 10 jaar lang "Shop in a Box" heb gehad.
Sinds 2018 zijn we begonnen met "Loja de Troca", een ruilwinkel, een mogelijkheid om onze overvloed te delen. Eerst was de locatie in Tabua en daarna in Povoa de Midoes, beide in privé-eigendommen die na enkele jaren worden verkocht. Daarom moeten we, nu de tweedemaal verhuizen.
We hebben de ambitie om een milieuvriendelijk project: te bouwen.
Een rond gebouw met een bolvormig dak.
Deze dome zal deels bestaan uit natuurstenen die al op het terrein aanwezig zijn, en voor de rest opgebouwd worden uit zoveel mogelijk natuurlijk en hergebruikt materiaal. Het doel is om het gebouw naadloos in het landschap te laten passen, als een hobbithuis.

De eerste 950 euro ging naar de graafwerkzaamheden een cirkel van 12 meter van 6 meter diep.
Het graven van een fundering is gebeurd met een kleine graafmachine.
de opvulling met stenen die al aanwezig waren en een beetje gekocht gring gebeurde met de hand door vrijwilligers.
Ook komen er enkele natuurlijke vijvers die het water van de straat opvangen en zuiveren. Het is ons gelukt om een zuiveringsvijver te maken, een eendenvijver is onderweg en er komt ooit een zwemvijver.
De vijvers zullen ook water vasthouden voor bluswater.
Er komt parkeergelegenheid voor auto's en grotere aanhangwagens.
Er komt ruimte voor markten met schaduw van bomen.
Onder dit stuk grond ligt een bestaand bos “floresta da festa” dat gebruikt kan worden als kinderspeeltuin en voor andere activiteiten.
Alles wat hier zal gebeuren is gratis of op basis van donaties.
Een echte plek waar onze vrije gemeenschap kan blijven bloeien.
